Guest blog: Karine Basso
My name is Karine Basso and I have just started to work as a Junior Consultant at KPMG Sustainability
I am originally Brazilian and have just finished a Masters in Development Management at the London School of Economics in England. As I have been working with Sustainability for a couple of years in the corporate sector already and the topic is one of my main passions, I started to look for job opportunities in organizations that are truly committed to sustainability and make a real impact through their work.
KPMG was my main target in The Netherlands, for its leading and innovative position worldwide in the sustainability practice helping companies the opportunity to implement sustainability into their core business, offering a very complete and robust approach that exceeds most of the practices we see in the market in the areas of Advisory and Assurance.
I had had contact with KPMG’s work through the reports they issue about Sustainability as well as from talking to some key professionals in the area and other companies, which only increased my will to become part of its team. And now that I am part of it I have even better things to say.
(This is part one of the introduction of new KPMG Sustainability colleagues).
